The Department of Family Medicine is dedicated in providing comprehensive and systematic medical care for families, regardless of their gender, age, or health issues. It is our responsibility to provide you with health consultation and maintenance, as well as disease prevention and treatment.
1. Lifelong Health Care and Family Physician
The attending physician is responsible for the ongoing and holistic approach to health care and management, as well as individual consultation and management of common diseases (e.g., colds, body aches, fatigue, and stress) and various adult diseases (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, arthritis, and osteoporosis).
2. Disease Prevention and Health Promotion
A healthy lifestyle will require a personalized medical care in the areas of health promotion (e.g., nutrition, exercise, smoking cessation, cessation of alcohol consumption, stress management, anti-aging, and prevention and early diagnosis of disease). Furthermore, a health screening process for the early detection of disease should be carried out. The Department of Family Medicine offers scientifically proven screening tests for specific diseases, if deemed necessary, and prohibits overtesting so as to provide a practical and cost-effective treatment.
3. Consultation and Referral
Our attending physician will provide you with the best possible treatment via consultation and referral for a more accurate diagnosis and professional treatment at the Department of Family Medicine.
