In Korea, gastric cancer has the highest incidence rate. When it is diagnosed at an early stage, it has a cure rate of more than 90% and even in advanced stage, the cure rate is increasing, thanks to the development of surgical techniques and combined treatment of new chemotherapies. We have established a treatment system in Korea starting within a week of the patient's visit and the patient's discharged 7 to 10 days after the start of treatment with advanced diagnostic equipment (e.g., endoscope, ultrasound endoscope, CT, and PET CT) for fast and accurate diagnosis.
KUMC Gastric Center offers personalized treatments in accordance with the patient's condition through various treatment methods (e.g., function-preserving gastrectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection, laparoscopic gastrectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy).
