The Digestive Diseases Center includes nine doctors of internal medicine and six surgeons, all specializing in the digestive system. These doctors provide professional diagnosis of esophagus diseases, upper and lower gastrointestinal tract diseases, liver diseases, and pancreas and gall-bladder related diseases.
Composed of five outpatient diagnosis rooms, three EGD (esophagogastroduodenoscopy) rooms, one colonoscopy room, one ultrasonography room, a gastric function examination room, and a recovery room for patients who have undergone conscious sedation endoscope procedures, the center is where patients of many digestive-system-related diseases are diagnosed and examined. The center had conducted more than 10,000 treatments and examinations combined within eleven months of opening the new hospital building, and successfully conducted a liver transplantation.
